The Display Label<\/strong> in the Fee Type setting is a grouping mechanism that consolidates multiple fees heads under a single label. This label appears on fee receipts, making them concise and organized. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fees with the same label are displayed as a single row in the fee receipt, regardless of how many fee types are grouped under it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Configure Fee Labels?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Settings > Finance > Fee<\/strong> ><\/strong> Fee Type<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. To Add a New Fee Type<\/strong>:\n
      \n
    • Click the Add (+)<\/strong> option in the Fee Type section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Define the required details, including the Display Label<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • To Edit an Existing Fee Type<\/strong>:\n

      • Locate the fee type you wish to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click the three-dot menu on the top-right corner of the fee type and select Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the new window that opens, navigate to the Label<\/strong> field on the right-hand side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Modify the label to reflect the desired name that will appear in fee receipts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Save the changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        Use of Fee Labels in Receipts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Purpose<\/strong>: Display Labels consolidate multiple fees into a single row in the fee receipt for ease of understanding and a clean layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Example<\/strong>: If multiple fees such as “Lab Fee,” “Library Fee,” and “Activity Fee” share the same display label (e.g., “Other Fees”), they will appear as a single line item labeled “Extra Fees” in the fee receipt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
