{"id":1060,"date":"2025-12-18T16:05:39","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T10:35:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/box5398.temp.domains\/~gqkcbamy\/?p=1060"},"modified":"2026-01-30T15:41:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T10:11:16","slug":"how-can-i-generate-report-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/how-can-i-generate-report-card\/","title":{"rendered":"How can I generate Report Card?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the <strong>report card template is configured<\/strong> by the school or support team, the report card publishing process can be completed in <strong>two main steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Add Result<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Publish the Report Card<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1: Add Result<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this step, you create an entry for an <strong>annual, term-wise, or assessment-wise result<\/strong>, which is later used to generate the report card. This is a <strong>one-time process for the entire academic year<\/strong>. Once a result is added for a specific <strong>class, term, or assessment<\/strong>, there is no need to repeat this step for the same combination again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Student &gt; Examination &gt; Report Card Publish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong> and choose one of the following: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Annual Report Card<\/strong> \u2013 to generate the final report card including all terms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Term Report Card<\/strong> \u2013 to generate a term-specific report card (most commonly used)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assessment Report Card<\/strong> \u2013 to generate a report card for a specific assessment(e.g., PT1, PT2, SA1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Class and Section<\/strong>, and <strong>Term or Assessment<\/strong> based on your chosen report card type.<br><em>The <strong>Template Mapped<\/strong> field displays the report card template name linked to the selected term or assessment.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the\u00a0<strong>Parent Access Dates<\/strong> :<br><em>This defines the period during which parents can view and download the report card.<\/em>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Enable Permanent Access : Enter Start date &amp; keep End date blank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To Enable Limited Access : Enter Start and End date both.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To Avoid Access : Do not enter any dates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Submit <\/strong>to save and add the entry to the Report Card Publish page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2: Publish the Report Card<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the result is added, you can generate the report card in <strong>PDF format<\/strong>. This process can be <strong>repeated any number of times<\/strong> for the same class, term, or assessment\u2014especially if any updates or corrections are made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the result is added, the report card status will appear as <strong>Pending<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>upward arrow<\/strong> to generate the report card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The status changes from:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>To Be Published<\/strong> > <strong>Scheduled<\/strong> > <strong>Published<\/strong><br>(generation may take a few minutes).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After publishing, you can:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Preview<\/strong> the report card using eye icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Download<\/strong> the report card using <strong>downward arrow<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can download <strong>student-wise<\/strong> or for the <strong>entire class\/section at once<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1847\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-200.png?wsr\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19680\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-200.png 1847w, https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-200-300x64.png 300w, https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-200-768x163.png 768w, https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-200-1536x326.png 1536w, https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-200-1200x255.png 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Tip:<\/strong> To display the report card in the parent account, you must enable the <strong>Parent Access Start Date and End Date<\/strong> by editing the result using the <strong>three dots (\u22ee)<\/strong> option.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understand the Status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If there are <strong>minor changes<\/strong> in marks or configurations after generation, the status will show an <strong>orange exclamation mark with \u201cTo Be Published\u201d<\/strong>, indicating the report card must be <strong>re-published<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a result is added for first time, the status will appear as <strong>\u201cTo Be Published.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If any existing result shows the status <strong>\u201cTo Be Published<\/strong>,\u201d ensure you publish the report card using the Publish icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the status shows <strong>\u201cPublished\u201d in green<\/strong>, the report card is <strong>final, up to date, and ready for download<\/strong> with no pending changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If changes are in <strong>multiple classes<\/strong>, a <strong>banner notification<\/strong> will appear at the top, listing the affected class names for quick identification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once the report card template is configured by the school or support team, the report card publishing process can be completed in two main steps: Step 1: Add Result In this step, you create an entry for an annual, term-wise, or assessment-wise result, which is later used to generate the report card.
