If a student is moved from a higher fee category (Category A) to a lower fee category (Category B), the difference becomes an excess amount<\/strong>. This extra amount needs to be refunded back to the student, as the new category no longer requires the higher fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initiate the Refund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Finance > Fee > Cancel\/Refund Payment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the payment date range<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Search for the student using the receipt number<\/strong>, name<\/strong>, or admission number<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the three dots (\u22ee)<\/strong> on the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Select Cancel and Refund<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Add remarks<\/strong> for reference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Click Confirm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Process the Refund<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to Finance > Fee > Refund Process<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Add any additional remarks<\/strong> if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click Confirm<\/strong> to complete the refund.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
