School can define their own grade system in custom logic or can follow the system provided by the CBSE.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Custom Logic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab on the top of the page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-260\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/image9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on the upper right side of the page<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are three steps to add Custom Logic:<br \/>\n<\/span><b><b><br \/>\nBasic<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fill in the <\/span>Name<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span>Output<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span>Input Type<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Marks or Grades) fields and click <\/span>Next<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nDefine Logic<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>With Decimal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>Without Decimal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (this is selected for the value to be considered for calculation \/ displaying in Report Card).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Round-Up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Round-Down<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Half Round Up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>Half Round Down<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>With Decimal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>Without Decimal <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for Round Off Percentage.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Round-Up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Round-Down<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Half Round Up<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Half Round Down for <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Round Off Percentage<\/span><b>.<br \/>\n<\/b><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">NOTE:<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If <\/span><b>With Decimal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is selected then the maximum number of digits after the decimal point should be specified or <\/span><b>Without Decimal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is selected then there is no need to specify the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">digits.<\/span><b><\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fill in the <\/span><b>Lower Range, Upper Range, Grade, Credits and Descriptive Indicators <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fields and click on <strong>+<\/strong> to add more rows.<br \/>\n<\/span><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Field Explained:<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b><b>Lower and Upper Range<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: it is the minimum and maximum marks range.<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Grades<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: It is a particular level of rank, which defines a range with an alphabetic character.<br \/>\n<\/span><b>Credits:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> These are the numeric values which indicate the grades.<br \/>\n<\/span><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Descriptive Indicators: <\/strong><\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a remark which indicates the grades.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select checkbox, to enable 1\/nth grading as required.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>NOTE:<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\nIn 1\/nth Grading System, the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">students can be divided into &#8216;n&#8217; groups based on the ranks. Each group can be defined with a particular grade, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">follow the given steps to enable 1\/nth grading<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark the checkbox against to <\/span><b>Enable 1\/nth Grading<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter <\/span><b>No. of Groups <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Ex. 1,2,3..).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter grade to <\/span><b>Failed Group <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Ex.
