Marks can be converted into grades and grades can be converted into marks in the grading system. School can define their own grade system in custom logic or can follow the system provided by the CBSE.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Select <\/span>Custom Logic<\/b> tab on the top of the page.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click \"\"\u00a0<\/span>on the upper right side of the page<\/span>.
    \n<\/span>There are three steps to add Custom Logic:
    \n<\/span>
    \nBasic
    \nFill in the <\/span>Name, <\/span>Output and <\/span>Input Type (Marks or Grades) fields and click <\/span>Next.
    \n
    \nDefine Logic
    \n<\/strong><\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n
      \n
    1. Select <\/span>With Decimal<\/b> or <\/span>Without Decimal<\/b> (this is selected for the value to be considered for calculation \/ displaying in Report Card).<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Select <\/span>Round-Up<\/b>, <\/span>Round-Down<\/b>, <\/span>Half Round Up<\/b> or <\/span>Half Round Down<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Select <\/span>With Decimal<\/b> or <\/span>Without Decimal <\/b>for Round Off Percentage.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Select <\/span>Round-Up<\/b>, <\/span>Round-Down<\/b>, <\/span>Half Round Up<\/b>, <\/span>Half Round Down for <\/b>Round Off Percentage<\/span>.
      \n<\/b>NOTE:<\/span>
      \n<\/b>If <\/span>With Decimal<\/b> is selected then the maximum number of digits after the decimal point should be specified or <\/span>Without Decimal<\/b> is selected then there is no need to specify the <\/span>digits.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n
    5. Fill in the <\/span>Lower Range, Upper Range, Grade, Credits and Descriptive Indicators <\/b>fields and click on +<\/strong> to add more rows.
      \n<\/span>Field Explained:<\/span>
      \n<\/b>Lower and Upper Range<\/b>: it is the minimum and maximum marks range.
      \n<\/span>Grades<\/b>: It is a particular level of rank, which defines a range with an alphabetic character.
      \n<\/span>Credits:<\/b> These are the numeric values which indicate the grades.
      \n<\/span>Descriptive Indicators: <\/strong><\/span><\/b>It is a remark which indicates the grades.
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Select checkbox, to enable 1\/nth grading as required.
      \n<\/span>NOTE:<\/b><\/span>
      \nIn 1\/nth Grading System, the <\/span>students can be divided into ‘n’ groups based on the ranks. Each group can be defined with a particular grade, <\/span>follow the given steps to enable 1\/nth grading<\/span><\/p>\n
        \n
      1. Mark the checkbox against to <\/span>Enable 1\/nth Grading<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Enter <\/span>No. of Groups <\/b>(Ex. 1,2,3..).<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Enter grade to <\/span>Failed Group <\/b>(Ex. A, B, C..).<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Enter grade to <\/span>Top 1\/nth of the passed candidates<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Enter grade to <\/span>Next 1\/nth of the passed candidates<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
      6. Enter the grades to <\/span>Next 1\/nth of the passed candidates <\/b>till the last group<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      7. Click Next<\/strong><\/span>

        \nMap Classes<\/b>
        \n<\/b>Select classes and click Submit<\/b>.<\/span>
