Follow the steps below to enroll a student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Choose a Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two available templates. By default, the <strong>Standard Template<\/strong> is selected for ease of use. However, you can tap the <strong>&#8220;Click Here&#8221;<\/strong> link shown in the top to modify the template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Template Options:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard Template \u2013 Uses the Parent\/Student Phone Number as the username for registration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Custom Template \u2013 Requires a manually entered unique Login ID to register.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Tap &#8220;Use Standard&#8221; or &#8220;Use Custom&#8221; to continue with your selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"356\" height=\"487\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Template-comparision.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11795\" style=\"width:300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Template-comparision.jpg 356w, https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Template-comparision-219x300.jpg 219w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 356px) 85vw, 356px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Add Student Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After selecting the template, fill in the mandatory details and tap <strong>&#8220;Add&#8221;<\/strong> to complete the process.<br> <strong>Note:<\/strong><em> You can change the<strong> template<\/strong> anytime before saving the student\u2019s details.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Standard Template<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Student Name<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Enter the full name of the student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Assign him\/her the study class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Section<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 You can choose it from available four sections, A,B,C &amp; D<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parent Mobile Number<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 This will be used as a username&nbsp;(via OTP).<br>SMS<em> notifications will also be sent to this number.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note :<\/strong> We strongly recommend to use <strong>custom template<\/strong> if you are accessing the <strong>Next Gurukul<\/strong> from Middle East region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Custom Template<\/strong><br>Instead of the parent\u2019s contact info number, you will use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Login ID<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 This will serve as the student\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>username<\/strong>.<br><em>The prefix is fixed and auto-generated using the school name.<\/em><br><em>You can also create a&nbsp;unique login ID&nbsp;based on the&nbsp;student\u2019s <strong>admission <\/strong><\/em><strong>number<\/strong>&nbsp;or any alphanumeric combination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Password<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 You can either&nbsp;<strong>Auto-Generate<\/strong>&nbsp;or set it&nbsp;<strong>Manually<\/strong>.<br><em>This password will be used by the student to log in mobile app or web.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Password<\/strong> Sharing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have used the <strong>Custom Template<\/strong> and manually generated passwords, ensure that you share these login details with students or parents via your preferred communication method. <br><strong>Note:<\/strong><em> They will only be able to access and enjoy content on Next Gurukul after receiving their credentials.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Users registered with the <strong>Standard Template<\/strong> can create their own passwords via OTP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Watch Video:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<video height=\"640\" width=\"320\" controls src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Student-Quick-Add-NG-App.mp4\"><\/video>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>For a detailed guide on password information, refer to:<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/?p=11807&amp;preview=true\">How can I download student passwords in Next Gurukul?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Quick Add option is ideal for adding fewer students by filling in student details.
