Kitting multiple items together simplifies the process for the store in-charge, enabling them to sell or issue items in a bundled manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Before creating a Kit, ensure that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The required items have been configured for sale or issuance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The necessary stores (e.g., Book Store, Uniform Store) have been created.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The required items are mapped within the stores.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps to Create a Kit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Navigate to: <\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Settings &gt; Administration &gt; Inventory<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Kit<\/strong> section and click the <strong>Create<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enter Kit Details<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kit Name : Enter a clear name for easy identification. This will be helpful when searching during sales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saleble or Issuable :<strong> <\/strong>Select one of the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saleble : Choose this option if the kit is intended for sale to students, staff, or visitors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issuable : Choose this option for internal issuance and tracking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store : Select the store where the items have been mapped or stored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sales Price : Enter the maximum selling price, including your profit. This amount excludes taxes or discounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tax Applicable : Check the box and select the tax from drop down. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tip:<\/strong><em> You can define &amp; enable Tax from Settings &gt; Finance &gt; Fee &gt; Tax Settings &amp; Fee Collection option.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Description : Provide a clear description of the kit\u2019s purpose for future reference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Map Items to the Kit<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <strong>Map Items<\/strong>, located in the middle of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the required Item Name and enter the supplied quantity for the kit.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Only items mapped to the selected store will be displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tip:<\/strong> <em>If an item does not appear, go to the store settings and map the required item.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat this process to map all necessary items to the kit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review all items in the Kit, and Click <strong>Submit<\/strong> to apply the changes and save the kit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kits function in inventory allows you to group multiple items supplied to students or teachers at the start of a new academic session.
