To assign a fee category to a student during the admission process, you must first ensure that the necessary fee configurations are set up in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-requisites: Configure Fee Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Go to Settings > Finance > Fee Module<\/strong> and set up the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Fee Category:<\/strong> e.g., Day Scholar, Day Care, General, RTE<\/em>, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Fee Types:<\/strong> e.g., Admission, Tuition, Security Deposit, Subject Fees<\/em>, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Fee Schedule:<\/strong> e.g., Monthly, Quarterly, Annual<\/em>, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Fee Structure:<\/strong> Define the amounts and installment breakdown for each fee type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Fee Autonumbering:<\/strong> Configure for Main Fee Receipt<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Fee Receipt Template:<\/strong> Assign the appropriate template.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Assigning Fee Category During Admission<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to Student > Admissions > Manage Admission<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Go to the Confirmation tab to view the list of shortlisted students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the student\u2019s name to open their detailed profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. In the profile, scroll to the Admission Details section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Under Assign Fee, click on Fee Category and select the appropriate category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Click Save<\/strong> to apply the changes.
      Note:<\/strong> You can also assign Optional Fees<\/strong> & Concession<\/strong> from the same section if required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Tip:<\/strong> You can immediately collect the fee from the student after assigning the fee category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
