The \u2018Fee Due Effective From Date\u2019 helps schools decide from which date a student\u2019s fee should be charged, especially for mid-term or late admissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of collecting fees from the start of the session, schools can start fee calculation from a specific date, month, or installment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example:<\/strong>
If a student joins on 6th June<\/strong> but the school wants to charge fees from July<\/strong>, set the Fee Due Effective From Date <\/strong>as 1st July<\/strong>. This ensures fees are only charged from July onwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: This works only if Pro-Rata settings<\/strong> are enabled and set to use the \u2018Fee Due Effective From Date\u2019 method.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to enable Pro-Rata settings :<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Go to:<\/strong> Settings > Finance > Fee > Fee Collection > General Tab
Enable Pro-Rata, and select \u2018Fee Due Effective From Date\u2019 as the method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
