NextOS does not allow you to change the grade system once marks have been entered. This is to prevent calculation errors<\/strong> in the final report card.
To change the grade system, you must first delete the entered marks\/grades \u2014 and then you can upload them again after the change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part 1 : Safely Delete Marks Before Changing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Go to the Marks Entry<\/strong> page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Download the marks using the Excel Template<\/strong> before deleting them.
    (You will be able to re-upload the same file later.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Once the marks are safely downloaded, delete the marks using delete icon<\/strong> on this page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Part 2 : Change the Grade System<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to Settings > Student > Examination<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Open Exam Hierarchy<\/strong>
      You can also use ‘Exam Hierarchy Validator’ to review & change the grade system.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select the Class > Term > Assessment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Choose the Subject or Activity you want to update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Click the three-dot menu (\u22ee)<\/strong> in the top-right corner, select Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Click Proceed<\/strong> when prompted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Change the Grade System as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Click Proceed<\/strong>, and Finish<\/strong> to save the changes. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      After Changing the Grade System<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      You can now re-upload the marks<\/strong> using the Excel file you downloaded earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
