{"id":13365,"date":"2025-10-27T13:06:24","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T07:36:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/?p=13365"},"modified":"2026-01-30T17:46:26","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T12:16:26","slug":"how-can-i-publish-report-card-to-parents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/how-can-i-publish-report-card-to-parents\/","title":{"rendered":"How can I publish report card to parents?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Video Tutorial :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/B122_5-How-can-I-enable-the-report-card-display-access-for-the-parents.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Enabling parent access allows parents to view and download their child\u2019s report card online for a defined period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Things to Verify Before Publishing <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure marks entry is completed for all students.<br><em>Verify it using <strong>Marks Entery Checklist<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preview<\/strong> the report card for a few random students and verify:<br><em>Overall design and layout, Alignment and formatting, Correct marks\/grades display, Other important details (student info, totals, remarks, etc.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If anything looks incorrect or incomplete, review the full exam setup.<br><em>Navigate to Student &gt; Examination &gt; <strong>Exam Setup Guide<\/strong> and follow the step-by-step process given on the page.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Steps to enable the parent access:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to&nbsp;<strong>Student &gt; Examination &gt; Report Card Publish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the required report card from the list.<br><em>You can also use the available filters to find it quickly.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the&nbsp;<strong>three dots<\/strong>&nbsp;beside the result, then choose&nbsp;Edit.<br><em>You can do this for an already published report card, or set parent access while adding a new one.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the&nbsp;<strong>Parent Access Dates<\/strong> :\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To Enable Permanent Access : Enter Start date &amp; keep End date blank.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To Enable Limited Access : Enter Start and End date both.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Submit<\/strong>&nbsp;to save the changes.<br><em>Once the parent access dates are saved, the report card becomes visible to parents immediately.
