Optional subjects can be unmapped either student-wise<\/strong> or through a bulk upload<\/strong>.
Before unmapping, ensure no marks or grades have been entered<\/strong> for the optional subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 1: Student-wise Unmapping<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to Settings > Student > Examination > Optional Subject Mapping<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the Class<\/strong>, Section<\/strong>, set Type<\/strong> as Optional Subject Mapping<\/em>, and choose the Terms<\/strong> from which unmapping needs to be done. (All<\/em>\u00a0for full year, or a specific one).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. After applying filters, the list of optional subjects will be displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Untick<\/strong> the checkboxes next to the subjects that need to be un-mapped for the student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click Save<\/strong> to apply the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Method 2: Bulk Unmapping<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to Settings > Student > Examination > Optional Subject Mapping<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click the Excel (Download) icon<\/strong> on the top-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select the Class<\/strong>, Section<\/strong>, set Type<\/strong> as Optional Subject Mapping<\/em>, and choose the Terms<\/strong> from which unmapping needs to be done (All<\/em>\u00a0for full year, or a specific one).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Select the optional subjects you want to unmap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Download the Excel template. \n

      • The file will show all students and their current mapping (1 = mapped).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the file, update the values as follows:\n
          \n
        • Change 1 (True) \u2192 0 (False)<\/strong> to unmap the subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Upload the modified file to unmap the subjects in bulk.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
