<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only optional subjects<\/strong> can be removed from an individual student\u2019s record.
Mandatory subjects are assigned at the class level and cannot be removed<\/strong> for a specific student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If marks have already been entered for an optional subject, you must delete the marks first<\/strong> before unmapping the subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Delete Marks for the Optional Subject<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Navigate to Student > Examination > Marks Entry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the Class<\/strong>, Section<\/strong>, Term<\/strong>, Assessment<\/strong>, and Subject<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Locate the student and delete the marks entered for that subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Proceed<\/strong> to save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Unmap the Optional Subject<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Navigate to Settings > Student > Examination > Optional Subject Mapping<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select the Class<\/strong>, Section<\/strong>, set Type<\/strong> as Optional Subject Mapping<\/em>, and choose the Terms<\/strong> from which unmapping needs to be done. (All<\/em> for full year, or a specific one).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. After applying filters, the list of optional subjects will be displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Untick<\/strong> the subject you want to remove from the student\u2019s record.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Click Save<\/strong> to apply the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Once these steps are completed, the optional subject will be fully removed from the student\u2019s record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
