To replace or delete a subject from the Exam Hierarchy, you must first remove any existing marks for that subject. Once marks are cleared, you can delete the subject and import a new one if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Delete Marks for the Subject<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before making any hierarchy changes, ensure no marks are entered<\/strong> for the subject. If entered follow the steps to delete them :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to Student > Examination > Marks Entry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select the Class<\/strong>, Section<\/strong>, Term<\/strong>, Assessment<\/strong>, and Subject<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Locate the student(s) and delete all marks entered for that subject.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Proceed<\/strong> to save the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Delete Subject<\/strong> from Exam Hierarchy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to Settings > Student > Examination > Exam Hierarchy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select the Term<\/strong> and Assessment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click the three dots (\ufe19)<\/strong> at the Subject Level<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Select Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. The subject will now be removed from the Exam Hierarchy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3: Import a New Subject (If Replacing)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      If you have created a new subject under Subject Setup<\/strong>, you can now import it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. At the Assessment Level<\/strong>, click the three dots (\ufe19)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select Import Subject<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Newly created subjects will appear\u2014select the required one(s).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Import and proceed with configuring the examination structure (activities, input type, grading scale, marks, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
