should I do if a student\u2019s name is not appearing for marks entry in an optional subject?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This usually happens when the optional subject mapping hasn\u2019t been done for the student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To fix it:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings > Student > Examination<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Optional Subject Mapping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Class, Section, set Type as <em>Optional Subject Mapping<\/em>, and choose the Term (<em>All<\/em> for full year, or a specific one).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After applying filters, the list of optional subjects will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tick the checkboxes to map the relevant subjects to the student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>SAVE<\/strong> to apply the changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, the student will appear in the marks entry screen for the mapped optional
