  1. Go to: Settings<\/strong> > Student<\/strong> > Examination<\/strong> > Examination Hierarchy<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select Class<\/strong> and Academic Term<\/strong> where you want to create the Pre-Board exam (e.g., Term 2 or a separate Pre-Board term).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Add a new Assessment:\n

    • Click the \u201cAdd\u201d<\/strong> button at the Assessment Level<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Enter the Assessment Name<\/strong> (e.g., “Pre-Board Exam”)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Import Subjects:\n
        \n
      • Click on the three-dot menu (<\/strong>\u22ee<\/strong>)<\/strong> at the assessment level<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Select \u201cImport Subjects\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • This pulls the subjects mapped for the class into the Pre-Board exam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Configure Each Subject:\n

        • Under the Pre-Board Assessment, for each subject<\/strong>, click \u201cAdd Activity\u201d<\/strong> (if needed for parts like theory\/practical)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • For each Subject or Activity<\/strong>, do the following:\n
            \n
          • Set the Maximum Marks<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Choose the appropriate Grade Scale<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Mention Weightage<\/strong> if applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Save<\/strong> after each step.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            • If you’re using Theory + Practical<\/strong> or different components, create them as Activities under the subject<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Ensure that grade scales are already configured in:
              Settings > Student > Examination > Grade Scales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
