New holding can be added to the catalogue to keep a record of the new holdings.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click \"\"<\/span> at the top right corner. The window will appear to create the new holding.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click check-circle against\u00a0 <\/span>Single Copy<\/b> or <\/span>Multiple Copies<\/b>.
    \n<\/span>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<\/span><\/b>
    \nIf a single copy is selected then the accession number will be entered in the field.<\/span>
    \nIf multiple copies are selected then the number of copies will be entered in the field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select <\/span>Holding Type<\/b> from the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Enter <\/span>ISBN <\/b>and click <\/span>Auto Fetch <\/b>(Details of the holdings will be entered automatically on the basis of ISBN).<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Turn on the toggle against the <\/span>Only For Reference <\/b>if the book is for reference purpose, it can not be issued to the library members.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Fill in the <\/span>Title<\/b>, <\/span>Authors<\/b>, <\/span>Edition<\/b>, <\/span>Volume<\/b>, <\/span>No. of Pages<\/b>, <\/span>Issue No<\/b>., <\/span>Publisher <\/b>and <\/span>Year of Publishing, Cost, Vendor <\/b>fields.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Select <\/span>Date of Purchase<\/b> and <\/span>Date of<\/b> Publishing<\/b> from the calendar.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Select <\/span>Category<\/b>, <\/span>Subcategory<\/b>, <\/span>Location<\/b>, <\/span>Sublocation<\/b>, <\/span>Condition<\/b> of the holding from the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Turn on the toggle against the <\/span>Lost <\/b>if the book is missing, it cannot be issued to the library members.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Fill in the <\/span>Author\u2019s Details<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Click <\/span>Save.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
