Categorization of the holdings to locate it in the realm of knowledge is essential before library cataloging. Holdings can be classified according to some criteria i.e; subject, author, publishers, format, language. Thus the knowledge base is categorized and subcategorized making it easy to catalogue the holdings.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click \"\"<\/span> at the right corner of the screen. A text field appears to create a new category of holdings.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Enter the name of the category.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Click \"\"<\/span> against the name of the category to add a subcategory to the category.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Enter the name of the subcategory.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Click \"\"<\/span> against the name of the subcategory created to add a subcategory to the subcategory.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Enter the name of the subcategory of the already created subcategory.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n

    • You can only create two levels of subcategories to the category.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • You can create as many subcategories in the same level.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The category or subcategory can be deleted at any point by clicking the \"\"<\/span>against the text field.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
