Teachers can bulk upload marks or grades in three simple steps<\/strong> using the google chrome web browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Download the Excel Template<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to Student > Examination > Marks Entry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the \"\" icon at the top-right of the screen to proceed for download the predefined excel format.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the Class, Section, Term, Assessment, and Subject<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Download<\/strong> (top-right corner).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. A predefined Excel file will be downloaded to your device<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Fill the marks\/grades in excel<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Understand the Excel Template<\/strong><\/em>
      The downloaded Excel template is designed to make marks entry easy and accurate.\n
        \n
      • It contains Admission Number, Roll Number, and Student Name<\/strong> for easy identification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • It includes multiple subject-wise sheets<\/strong> based on the configured exam hierarchy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • You can enter marks or grades for subjects, activities, and rubrics<\/strong>.
        Note:<\/strong>\n
          \n
        • Marks\/grades must be within the configured maximum marks limits<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • You may enter AB (Absent), DC (Don\u2019t Consider), or ML (Medical Leave)<\/strong> where applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Enter Marks \/ Grades in the Excel File<\/em><\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Open the downloaded Excel file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Select the required subject sheet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Navigate to the Term and Assessment columns<\/strong> (these may span or be merged across multiple columns).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Identify the activity or rubric<\/strong> for which marks need to be recorded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Enter the marks or grade in the MARKS \/ GRADE<\/strong> column for that activity.\n
              \n
            • The NOTE<\/strong> column beside MARKS can be used for descriptive indicators (if applicable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Marks can be entered with or without decimal values<\/strong>.\n

              • The system will automatically round off values based on configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Once all entries are completed, save the Excel file<\/strong> and proceed to upload it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Step 3: Upload the filled excel file<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. Navigate again to Student > Examination > Marks Entry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Select the same Class, Section, Term, Assessment, and Subject<\/strong> used during download.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Go to the Upload<\/strong> section and browse or drag & drop the completed Excel file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                4. The system validates all entries:\n
                    \n
                  • If valid – upload is allowed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • If invalid – errors are highlighted in red with cell references<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Download the error file, correct the entries, and re-upload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Once uploaded successfully, marks will appear against each student in the Marks Entry page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
