Make sure the staff user is already mapped and available on the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps to register fingerprints<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the biometric device, go to <strong>Menu &gt; User Mgmt &gt; All Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will see the list of <strong>staff users synced from NextOS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the required <strong>user<\/strong> and <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>RFID<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap or place the RFID card on the device when prompted.<br><em>A short beep sound and an successfull message will come on the screen for confirmation. <\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the same steps for other users as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once mapped, the RFID card can be used by the staff member to mark attendance, and the data will sync automatically with <strong>NextOS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can configure an RFID card for a user after the biometric device is properly configured, connected to NextOS.
