They can monitor all conversations without being added anywhere.<br>Any other staff member can be made a monitor in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For a group<\/strong> \u2014 added explicitly to that one group. See<em>How to add a Chat Monitor to a group?<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For one-to-one chats<\/strong> \u2014 defined by department or class-section. See<em>How to monitor one-to-one chats?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The two are set up separately. Being a monitor for a group does not give access to one-to-one chats, and the reverse is also true.<br><strong>Note<\/strong>: A monitor can read messages.
