{"id":227,"date":"2019-06-13T08:21:55","date_gmt":"2019-06-13T08:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helpcenter.akk.yxc.mybluehost.me\/?p=227"},"modified":"2020-04-23T19:57:44","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T14:27:44","slug":"how-to-allocate-students-to-a-student-fee-category-created","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/how-to-allocate-students-to-a-student-fee-category-created\/","title":{"rendered":"How to allocate students to a Student Fee Category created?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-83\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/01_Settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"17\" \/> &gt; Fee &gt; Student Fee Category<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose the <b>ALLOCATE STUDENTS <\/b>tab next to the <b>CREATE CATEGORIES <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tab.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li>Select the <b>Class<\/b> and <b>Section<\/b> from which students need to be chosen.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0To find a particular student of the class, search by the name or admission number of the student.<br \/>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><b>INFO DISPLAYED<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">List of students in the selected class and section (the students allocated to a Student Fee Category as well as the ones not allocated to any category)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Not marked <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">displays the number of students who are not allocated to any Student Fee category.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of students for each Student Fee Category mapped to a particular class is displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Student Fee Category <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">column displays the colour and code of the Student Fee Category allocated to each student.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Grey <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">circles in the Fee Category column indicate that no category is allocated to the student.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the top right corner,<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-89\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Log-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"19\" height=\"22\" \/> displays the changes that have been made in the Student Fee Category allocation to date.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Fee Collected column displays <\/span><b>Yes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for students who have paid their fees already and <\/span><b>No<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the ones who have not paid their fees yet.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the Fee Collected column displays <\/span><b>Yes,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> it means that the fee collected from the student is according to the student\u2019s allocated fee category.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the fees collected from the students are only Ad hoc fee, Transport fee and\/or Fines (of any sort), the<\/span><b> Fee Collected<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> column will still display <\/span><b>No,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> since such fee amounts are not calculated according to the student\u2019s allocated fee category.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the grey circle next to a student\u2019s name to select the student.<\/li>\n<li>Click the grey circle against the selected student under the Fee Category Column. Or, click the grey circle next to <b>Student Name <\/b>to select the students in the class. A list of categories mapped to the class is displayed on the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Select a category from the list.<\/li>\n<li>Click <b>SAVE<\/b>.\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>TIP<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the filter icon next to the <b>Fee Collected <\/b>column to selectively display the list of students from whom the fee is collected or not collected.<\/li>\n<li>Use the filter icon <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">next to the <\/span><b>Fee Category <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">column<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to selectively display the list of students who belong to a particular Student Fee Category.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Use the sorting icon next<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0to the <\/span><b>Student Name <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">column to sort the list of students in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Use the sorting icon <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">next to <\/span><b>Admission No.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to sort the list of students in ascending or descending order of their admission numbers.\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To upload the students in bulk to the Student Fee Categories, click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-980\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Circulations-New-NLP7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" \/> on the top right corner of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Download\u00a0<\/strong>button against the template displayed.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Class<\/strong> and <strong>Section<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the checkbox if you want only to consider the non-mapped students.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the details of the Student Fee Categories of the students.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>UPLOAD<\/strong> button and select the filled-in template.<\/li>\n<li>Click Upload at the bottom right corner of the screen.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&gt; Fee &gt; Student Fee Category Choose the ALLOCATE STUDENTS tab next to the CREATE CATEGORIES tab.
