The timetable can be created for the configured period structure. To configure the number of periods of the subjects in a week for classes, subject constraints can be configured in three ways: <\/span>General Subjects, Parallel Subjects, Linked Subjects<\/b>. In <\/span>general subjects<\/b>, the number of periods of each subject can be configured for the class and section. The number of periods can be configured for both Co-Scholastic and Scholastic subjects. By default, the period count will be set to zero for all the subjects. In <\/span>parallel subjects<\/b>, the classes with the same period structure are grouped together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Click \"\" <\/span>on the top right corner of the page to add a new timetable. The pop-up window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Enter <\/span>Name<\/b> for the timetable.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Click <\/span>Save<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Turn on the toggle against the desired period structure to create a timetable and click <\/span>Next<\/b>. The new window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Select <\/span>GENERAL SUBJECTS<\/b> tab on the top of the page to configure the number of periods of the subject. Take a pointer down to the name of desired subject, \"\" <\/span>will appear to configure the <\/span>No. of the periods\/week<\/b>. The pop-up window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Enter <\/span>No. of the periods\/week<\/b>, <\/span>Min and Max Periods\/Day <\/b>and <\/span>Min and Max Continuous Periods.<\/b><\/li>\n
  7. Click <\/span>Submit<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Click \"\"<\/span> on the top right corner of the page to do the advanced settings in general subjects. The new window will appear with the timetable.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Select <\/span>Section<\/b> and <\/span>Subject<\/b> from the drop-down menu.
    \nNOTE<\/strong><\/span>:
    \nThe period can be restricted if the teacher will be assigned to that period.
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Click <\/span>APPLY TO ALL<\/b> or <\/span>SAVE<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Select <\/span>PARALLEL SUBJECTS<\/b> tab on the top of the page to create a group (the students who are having different subjects on the same period of the same class). Click <\/span>CREATE <\/b>to create a group for the classes that are having the same period structure. The new window will appear.

  12. Enter <\/span>Group No<\/b>., <\/span>Group Name.<\/b><\/li>\n
  13. Click the box against <\/span>Color Picker<\/b> to select a colour for the group.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  14. The classes with the same period structure will be displayed. Select class, the subjects with section will be displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n
  15. Select <\/span>Section<\/b> for the subject. Click <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  16. Select <\/span>LINKED SUBJECTS<\/b> on the top of the page to link the subjects. The pop-up window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n
  17. Select <\/span>Class<\/b>, <\/span>Section<\/b> and <\/span>Subjects<\/b> from the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  18. Select checkcircle against <\/span>Consecutive<\/b>(continuously two or more periods), <\/span>Non-Consecutive<\/b>(not continuous periods), <\/span>Same Day<\/b>(continuous periods on the same day) and <\/span>Not on Same Day<\/b>(continuous periods but not on the same day)<\/span>. <\/b>Click <\/span>Save<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  19. Click <\/span>Proceed<\/b>. The next window will appear to select a teacher.<\/span><\/li>\n
  20. Select <\/span>Maximum Continuous<\/b> and <\/span>Maximum Substitutions<\/b> from the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li>\n
  21. Click \"\"<\/span> to add teacher constraints.<\/span><\/li>\n
  22. Click Generate<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
