To configure the number of periods of the subjects in a week for classes, subject constraints can be configured in three ways: <\/span><b>General Subjects, Parallel Subjects, Linked Subjects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In <\/span><b>general subjects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the number of periods of each subject can be configured for the class and section. The number of periods can be configured for both Co-Scholastic and Scholastic subjects. By default, the period count will be set to zero for all the subjects. In <\/span><b>parallel subjects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the classes with the same period structure are grouped together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-953\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Catalogue-NLP.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"28\" height=\"27\" \/> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on the top right corner of the page to add a new timetable. The pop-up window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter <\/span><b>Name<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the timetable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Save<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Turn on the toggle against the desired period structure to create a timetable and click <\/span><b>Next<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The new window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>GENERAL SUBJECTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab on the top of the page to configure the number of periods of the subject. Take a pointer down to the name of desired subject, <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1182\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"26\" height=\"25\" \/> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will appear to configure the <\/span><b>No. of the periods\/week<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The pop-up window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter <\/span><b>No. of the periods\/week<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Min and Max Periods\/Day <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Min and Max Continuous Periods.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Submit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2378\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/64.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"27\" height=\"27\" \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the top right corner of the page to do the advanced settings in general subjects. The new window will appear with the timetable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Section<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Subject<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the drop-down menu.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\nThe period can be restricted if the teacher will be assigned to that period.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>APPLY TO ALL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>SAVE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>PARALLEL SUBJECTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab on the top of the page to create a group (the students who are having different subjects on the same period of the same class). Click <\/span><b>CREATE <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to create a group for the classes that are having the same period structure. The new window will appear.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span>:<br \/>\nClasses with the same period structure are grouped together.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter <\/span><b>Group No<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">., <\/span><b>Group Name.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the box against <\/span><b>Color Picker<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to select a colour for the group.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The classes with the same period structure will be displayed. Select class, the subjects with section will be displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Section<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the subject. Click <\/span><b>Save<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>LINKED SUBJECTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the top of the page to link the subjects. The pop-up window will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Class<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Section<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Subjects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the drop-down menu.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select checkcircle against <\/span><b>Consecutive<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(continuously two or more periods), <\/span><b>Non-Consecutive<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(not continuous periods), <\/span><b>Same Day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(continuous periods on the same day) and <\/span><b>Not on Same Day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(continuous periods but not on the same day)<\/span><b>. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Save<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Proceed<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
