Shifts might be different for the different classes also. So it is necessary to create suitable working shifts for each such category.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>Create New<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, if you have not created any attendance shift timings. Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-260\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/image9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/>\u00a0 from the top right corner, if you have already created some attendance shift timings.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter the<\/span><b> Shift Name <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by which you wish to identify the shift.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter the <\/span><b>Short Name <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for the Shift Name.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Switch on the toggle for applying the attendance rules, if you wish to. By switching on this toggle, the attendance statuses will be available for selection. You can also set specific rules for each status applicable for this shift.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter the <\/span><b>Start Time<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>End Time<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Late In<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Early Out<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> times for the shift.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To set the attendance rules for an attendance status (so that the rule can be applied for the shift you are currently creating),<\/span>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">click <\/span><b>CONFIGURE <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">against the required attendance status.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can configure the In Time, Out Time and Working Hours (as required) using the logical operators and boolean operators and\/or.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>SAVE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Set the attendance rules for the other required attendance statuses in this way.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click SAVE.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&gt; Attendance Settings &gt; Attendance Shift Each departments will have different working shifts in the school.
