Academic terms are displayed on the report cards as per the sequence numbers entered. Based on this Sequence No., we can fetch the marks in reports and report cards of that academic term. Note that this Sequence No. should be unique. For instance, you can provide the sequence number 2 for Term II.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select a Grade System for determining the scores in assessments (Example: CBSE Scholastic).<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>NOTE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can create your own logic or grade system and map it to the selected class from <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-83\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/01_Settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"17\" \/> &gt; Grade System &gt; Custom Logic. Such grade systems will be available for selection on the Exam Hierarchy screen.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grade systems provided in <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-83\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/01_Settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"17\" \/> &gt; <\/strong>Grade System &gt; System Logic will be available for selection on the Exam Hierarchy screen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose the Maximum Marks for the term i.e. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sum of the maximum marks of all the assessments under the term. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">If the maximum marks is defined at term level group, the sum of maximum marks of the individual terms will be summed up to form the maximum marks of the group.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Enter the Cut-off % used for pass\/fail logic of the marks in the term.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>PROCEED<\/b>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By default, the toggle for grouping the academic terms will be on.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Turn on the Session Level toggle to create a group of the academic terms created in the academic session.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the Calculation Logic for the assessments under the term.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;\">NOTE<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\">Under Advanced Settings, you can configure how many of the best scores should be considered from the assessments linked to the academic term<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the academic terms that must be grouped under the new academic term.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check the rows of the third column if it is mandatory to pass the corresponding terms. Cut-off % for the respective terms need to be updated if terms are chosen as mandatory to pass.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>FINISH<\/b>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>REMEMBER<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can edit or delete the academic terms displayed in the Exam Hierarchy page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>To edit,\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-235\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/image3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 at the top right corner of the academic term displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Edit<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make changes that are required in the pop-up window.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>PROCEED <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the last pop-up window.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To delete,<\/span>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-83\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/01_Settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"17\" \/> &gt; School Setup &gt; Academic Term<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-235\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/image3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4\" height=\"16\" \/> \u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the top right corner of the academic term card that you wish to delete.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Delete<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&gt; Examination &gt; Exam Hierarchy Select a class for which exam hierarchy needs to be configured.
