{"id":585,"date":"2019-06-24T12:15:42","date_gmt":"2019-06-24T06:45:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/box5398.temp.domains\/~gqkcbamy\/?p=585"},"modified":"2019-06-24T12:58:06","modified_gmt":"2019-06-24T07:28:06","slug":"how-to-map-fee-types-to-the-bank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/how-to-map-fee-types-to-the-bank\/","title":{"rendered":"How to map fee types to the bank?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-83\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/01_Settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"17\" \/> &gt; Fee &gt; Banking<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select BANK-FEE MAPPING tab next to BANK details.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-79\" src=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.nexterp.in\/helpcenter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/outline-settings-24px.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> at the top right corner.<\/li>\n<li>Select a method of the bank to fee mapping, either <strong>Manual<\/strong> or <strong>Automatic.<br \/>\nNOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Manual method<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: If the method of mapping is kept as &#8216;Manual&#8217;, the school would have to select the &#8216;Destination Bank&#8217; for every fee collection.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Automatic Method: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the School has specific banks, in which the fee gets deposited(based on Class and\/or Fee Type), then they can select the mapping method as &#8216;Automatic&#8217;.<\/span>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>If you wish to have a class-wise mapping to the bank, choose <strong>C<\/strong><b>lass.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you wish to have fee type wise mapping to the bank, choose F<\/span><b><b>ee Type.<\/b><\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you wish to have banks mapped to a particular fee type of a class, choose C<\/span><b>lass and Fee <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">type.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b><b>SAVE.<\/b><\/b>REMEMBER\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All the banks created under bank details are available for class mapping in this tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A class can be mapped to only one bank account.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A fee type can be mapped to only one bank account.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can choose the manual or automatic option for bank fee mapping from the Settings option.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the manual method is selected, bank-fee mapping can be done directly from the collect fee page. Destination Bank can be chosen for every fee transaction done.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the automatic method, select an option from &#8216;fee type&#8217;, &#8216;class&#8217; or &#8216;class and fee type&#8217; to map it to the bank.
