This process consists of two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Creation of New Labels<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Mapping of New Labels<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Part 1: Creation of New Labels<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Follow these steps to create new labels using the Custom Fields option:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1:<\/strong> Navigate to Settings -> Administration -> School Setup.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2:<\/strong> Locate Custom Fields<\/strong> and click on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3:<\/strong> Click on the Create<\/strong> option in the top-right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Step 4:<\/strong> Update the following required details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Header:<\/strong>
      This will organize custom fields under a specific header, such as Sports Information<\/strong> or Strength & Weakness<\/strong>.
      Note:<\/strong> To group fields together, ensure all new fields are assigned the same header name.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Applicable To:<\/strong>
      Select the specific module where these fields will apply.
      Example: Select both Admission Student<\/strong> and Student<\/strong> if the field should apply to new applicants as well as confirmed students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Field Details:<\/strong>
      Provide specific details for the new field:\n
        \n
      • Select Type:<\/strong> Choose from the available options (e.g., Text, List,Checkbox,Multiselect etc.).
        Did you know?<\/em> Text<\/strong> and List<\/strong> are the most commonly used types for custom fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Name:<\/strong> Enter the name of the field for which additional information will be collected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Label:<\/strong> To enter the description of the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Mandatory:<\/strong> Indicate if the field is mandatory by selecting Yes<\/strong> or No<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Step 5:<\/strong> Click Add<\/strong> to save the new field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Part 2: Mapping of New Labels<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Once new labels are created, proceed with mapping them to the relevant module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 1:<\/strong> Navigate to Settings -> Student -> Admission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 2:<\/strong> Locate Admission Form Editor<\/strong> and click on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 3:<\/strong> Go to Add Student Form<\/strong> and click Add Custom Field<\/strong> at the top right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 4:<\/strong> Select the recently created custom field from the list and map it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 5:<\/strong> Click Add<\/strong> after selecting the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Note:<\/strong> The mapped field will now be available on the Enquiry<\/strong> page to record information. To map the field for the Online Enquiry Portal, choose Online Enquiry Form<\/strong> under the Admission Form Editor page.<\/p>\n\n\n
