Add your own resources to TN

You can add your resources to TN via NLP. Once done, the same can be used for teaching in the classroom from TeachNext or for your own future reference .
1. Add your resource to LMS
For use in Classroom
Add it as a session resource to one of the session in the course of your choice. Courses will be listed based on your subject-teacher mapping done in the NLP.

Add a Session Resource: Menu > Teacher Workspace > My Workspace > Select a course

  1. Click on the My Courses tab to select the course to choose a chapter.
  2. Select the session and click on resources (+). Click on ‘upload resources’ to add..
  3. Select desired file (format should be doc,pdf,mp3, mp4, jpg, ,png, jpeg) & click open.
  4. Click Save (Added resource will be shown in My Resources).
  5. Added resources can now be viewed in the uploaded chapter/session.

For Self Reference
You can add it as a resource in the global resource library for future reference. If required, this resource can be added from the library to the course/session later on

Add a resource in Library: Menu > Teacher Workspace > My Workspace > Select a course > More > Library

  1. Click on the My Courses tab to select the course to click on More tab to open Global Resource Library.
  2. Select any resource type to upload. Click on + to upload resources(format should be doc,pdf, mp3,mp4,jpg,png, jpeg) & click open.
  3. Click Save (Added resource will be shown in My Resources).
  4. Select Resource type to view the uploaded file.
  5. Select the resource and click on add to tag it to chapter and session.

2. Access the resources in TeachNext Classroom

  1. Login in to TN Client with the teacher credentials who has uploaded the resources in LMS.
  2. Click on the ‘My Courses’ tab to view the course list to select the chapter session where the content is added.Access the content now in the classroom.
  3. TNServer has the ability to sync the latest content updates periodically from the internet. It includes TeachNext content and MyCourses content that you uploaded into LMS on your branch. Content Sync can be triggered manually on demand as well – Menu > TN Sever > Sync Summary> Manage Content Update
