> Examination > Rank Configuration
The ranking is an important parameter to see the comparative performance of students. Ranking can be provided on the basis of either the marks obtained by the students or the percentage obtained by the students. Ranking can be done at various levels Yearly, Term and Assessment.
- Select a Class from the left side of the page.
- Select Marks or Percentage.
- Select Consideration of failed students or Ranks passed student first (both can be selected).
- Select Skip Rank (Eg. 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 4th).
- Click Save.
- Click Delete to delete the configured rank.
NOTE:
1. If Consideration of failed students is selected then the students who have good marks but failed in one subject will be considered for the ranking, if not, then the failed students will not be considered for the ranking even if they have overall good marks.
2. If Ranks passed student first is selected then the passed students ranked first, failed students will be ranked after passed students.
3. Skip Ranks: The next rank will skip if two students got the same rank (Ex. If students A and B get 90 marks and C get 88 marks then ranking will be A=1st, B=1st and C=3rd).
