How can I create an exam structure for Pre-Boards?

  1. Go to: Settings > Student > Examination > Examination Hierarchy
  2. Select Class and Academic Term where you want to create the Pre-Board exam (e.g., Term 2 or a separate Pre-Board term).
  3. Add a new Assessment:
    • Click the “Add” button at the Assessment Level
    • Enter the Assessment Name (e.g., “Pre-Board Exam”)
  4. Import Subjects:
    • Click on the three-dot menu () at the assessment level
    • Select “Import Subjects”
    • This pulls the subjects mapped for the class into the Pre-Board exam
  5. Configure Each Subject:
    • Under the Pre-Board Assessment, for each subject, click “Add Activity” (if needed for parts like theory/practical)
    • For each Subject or Activity, do the following:
      • Set the Maximum Marks
      • Choose the appropriate Grade Scale
      • Mention Weightage if applicable
  6. Save after each step.

📌 Notes:

  • If you’re using Theory + Practical or different components, create them as Activities under the subject.
  • Ensure that grade scales are already configured in:
Settings > Student > Examination > Grade Scales
