How to add a new Fee Head?

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Navigate to Finance > Fee > Fee Type.
  3. Click on Add New to create a new fee type.
  4. Enter the Fee Type Name and Code.
  5. Select the Type of Fee from the following options:
    • Mandatory: This fee will be applied to all students.
    • Optional: This fee will be applied only to selected students.
    • Adhoc: This is a runtime fee that can be applied instantly during collection.
    • New Admission: This fee will be applied to students who are admitted as new through the admission module.
  6. Below, map the Applicable Classes against the fee type.
  7. Click on Save to create the new fee type.
