- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Finance > Fee > Fee Type.
- Click on Add New to create a new fee type.
- Enter the Fee Type Name and Code.
- Select the Type of Fee from the following options:
- Mandatory: This fee will be applied to all students.
- Optional: This fee will be applied only to selected students.
- Adhoc: This is a runtime fee that can be applied instantly during collection.
- New Admission: This fee will be applied to students who are admitted as new through the admission module.
- Below, map the Applicable Classes against the fee type.
- Click on Save to create the new fee type.
