How to import the subjects under the assessments in exam hierarchy?

> Examination > Exam Hierarchy

  1. Select a class for which exam hierarchy needs to be configured.
    INFO DISPLAYED

    • Mandatory:  Indicates that it is mandatory to pass
    • Group: Indicates the group of Terms, Assessments, Subjects, Subject activities  or Rubrics
    • Scholastic: Indicates the scholastic assessments, subject, subject activities or rubrics
    • Co-scholastic: Indicates the co-scholastic assessments, subject, subject activities or rubrics
    • Missing Configuration: Indicates that the hierarchy is not set till the level of subject activity for the term, assessment, subject, subject activity or rubric.
  2. Click the Academic Session name (Ex: 2017–18). The academic terms and groups created will be displayed under the selected academic session.
  3. Click the required Term or the group of terms. The assessments or group of assessments created under the term will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Click  at the top right corner of the assessment under which you wish to have the subjects listed.
  5. Click Import Subject. Subjects mapped under the class will be listed under the selected assessment. Scholastic subjects will be imported under the assessment marked as scholastic and co-scholastic subjects will be imported under the assessment marked as co-scholastic.
    REMEMBER

    • The subjects can be imported only if those subjects are mapped to the selected class in > Examination > Subject Setup > Optional Subject Mapping.
    • You can remove the subjects enlisted under an assessment by clicking the Delete option from    at the top right corner of the subject name.
    • Subject activities can be created from > Examination >  Subject Activity Configuration.
    • These configurations will automatically be reflected in the Exam Hierarchy page.
    • You cannot add a new subject from this page.
  6. Click the subject name from the enlisted subjects.
  7. Click Add Level in the subject level.
  8. Click the subject activity under which you wish to create rubrics.
    TIP
    If the Quick Edit next to the class selection drop-down is turned on, you can view or edit the assessment, subject, subject activity or rubrics from the Quick View/Edit box that appears at the right end of the screen.
