The Quick Add option is ideal for adding fewer students by filling in student details. Follow the steps below to enroll a student.
Step 1: Choose a Template
There are two available templates. By default, the Standard Template is selected for ease of use. However, you can tap the “Click Here” link shown in the top to modify the template.
Template Options:
- Standard Template – Uses the Parent/Student Phone Number as the username for registration.
- Custom Template – Requires a manually entered unique Login ID to register.
Tap “Use Standard” or “Use Custom” to continue with your selection.

Step 2: Add Student Details
After selecting the template, fill in the mandatory details and tap “Add” to complete the process.
Note: You can change the template anytime before saving the student’s details.
Standard Template
- Student Name – Enter the full name of the student.
- Class – Assign him/her the study class.
- Section – You can choose it from available four sections, A,B,C & D
- Parent Mobile Number – This will be used as a username (via OTP).
SMS notifications will also be sent to this number.
Custom Template
Instead of the parent’s phone number, you will use:
- Login ID – This will serve as the student’s username.
The prefix is fixed and auto-generated using the school name.
You can also create a unique login ID based on the student’s admission number or any alphanumeric combination.
- Password – You can either Auto-Generate or set it Manually.
This password will be used by the student to log in mobile app or web.
Password Sharing
- If you have used the Custom Template and manually generated passwords, ensure that you share these login details with students or parents via your preferred communication method.
Note: They will only be able to access and enjoy content on Next Gurukul after receiving their credentials.
- Users registered with the Standard Template can create their own passwords via OTP.
