How can I configure an RFID card on a biometric device?

You can configure an RFID card for a user after the biometric device is properly configured, connected to NextOS. Make sure the staff user is already mapped and available on the device.

Steps to register fingerprints

  • On the biometric device, go to Menu > User Mgmt > All Users.
  • You will see the list of staff users synced from NextOS.
  • Select the required user and Edit.
  • Choose RFID option.
  • Tap or place the RFID card on the device when prompted.
    A short beep sound and an successfull message will come on the screen for confirmation.
  • Repeat the same steps for other users as needed.

Once mapped, the RFID card can be used by the staff member to mark attendance, and the data will sync automatically with NextOS.
