Staff who need to mark attendance using a biometric device can be mapped through the Map User Groups settings.
Steps to map staff to a biometric device
- Navigate to Settings > Staff > Attendance > Map User Groups.
- Locate the required biometric device and click the button on the right side of it.
- Switch to the STAFF tab at the top.
- Select the Departments whose staff should be linked to the biometric device.
- Click Save to apply the mapping.
Verify staff sync status
- Go back to the Map User Groups page.
- Click on the same biometric device to view staff sync statuses.
- Click View All to see the list of staff synced to the device.
Tip:
- If a staff member shows Pending, it means the data has not yet synced to the device.
- Ensure the biometric device is properly configured, connected to the internet, and online for successful synchronization.
