The “Invalid Date of Birth” error usually occurs when the entered DOB does not match the records in NextOS. This may happen due to the following reasons:

  • The parent is entering an incorrect DOB.
  • The DOB is incorrectly updated in the school records.

How to Resolve:

For Parents

  1. Double-check the DOB you are entering. Ensure it matches the records provided to the school.
  2. Enter the date in the required DD/MM/YYYY format.

For School

Verify the DOB with official school records.

If incorrect, update the DOB in NextOS:
Step 1: Navigate to Student > Student List & Reports > Student List.

Step 2: Search for the student and open their profile.

Step 3: Go to the Student tab, click Edit, update the DOB, and Save the changes.

Inform the parent to retry authentication with the updated DOB

Following these steps ensures the DOB matches system records, allowing a smooth account activation process.
