Optional fees can be created once and then mapped to multiple students together using the bulk mapping option.
Step 1: Create the optional fee
- Navigate to Settings > Finance > Fee > Fee Type.
- Click the Add (+) icon.
- Enter the Fee Type Name (e.g., Sports Fee).
- Select Fee Type as Optional and click Save.
- Go to Fee Structure and define the amount for the required classes or categories.
- Click Save to apply the amounts.
Step 2: Bulk map the optional fee to students
- Navigate back to Settings > Finance > Fee > Fee Type.
- Locate the created optional fee.
- Click the three dots next to the fee type and select Map.
- From the student list, select multiple students (or all, if required).
- Click Map to assign the optional fee in bulk.
Step 3: Verify the allocation
- Navigate to Finance > Fee > Fee Collection.
- Check the selected students to ensure the optional fee is reflected correctly in their fee details.
