To begin fee collection in NextOS, you must configure the core fee components used for assigning mandatory fees to students.

Navigate to Settings > Finance > Fee and Create

  • Student Fee Category – Defines student fee categories (e.g., New, Old, RTE, etc.).
  • Fee Type – Defines the fee heads (e.g., Tuition Fee, Lab Fee, Transport Fee).
  • Fee Schedule – Defines the installments or EMI pattern (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly, Term-wise).
  • Fee Structure – Maps fee heads to the selected category and assigns the installment and amount.
  • Fee Autonumbering – Defines the numbering sequence for fee receipts.
  • Fee Receipt Template – Maps a receipt template for generating downloadable PDF receipts.
