You can assign due dates to the Board Exam Fee by mapping it to an existing Fee Schedule. While it is possible to create a new fee schedule with custom installments or due dates, it is generally recommended to use an existing schedule (e.g., Quarterly or Monthly) that already has due dates configured. When mapped through the Fee Structure, the due dates will be auto-applied based on the selected schedule.
Steps to Assign an Installment
- Navigate to Settings > Finance > Fee > Fee Structure.
- Select the Class for which you want to configure the installments.
- Select the Fee Category to view the list of fee types.
- Click the down arrow (↓) next to Board Exam Fee and choose Add Installments.
- Select the required Fee Schedule, choose the installment, and click ADD.
- Enter the payable amount and click Save.
Note: Using a single installment (instead of multiple new ones) keeps the process simpler, especially when there are predefined fee schedules already maintained by the school.
