If any student fails the exam he/she can apply for a supplementary exam. Assessment-wise eligibility can be defined here. There are certain criteria based on them the student will be eligible for supplementary exams.
- Overall % is the minimum percentage of marks (from all terms) a student must secure to be eligible for the supplementary exam.
- Subject-wise % is the minimum percentage of marks a student must secure in a subject for that assessment to be eligible for the supplementary exam.
- The supplementary subjects would append to the end of supplementary remarks.
- First, the term will be created in the exam hierarchy, the toggle needs to be turned on against Session Level.
REFER: How to group the academic terms (already created) under a new name in the Exam Hierarchy page? - To configure examination supplementary goto > Examination > Supplementary
- Select Class given on the left side of the page.
- Select Maximum Number of Subjects from the drop-down menu.
- Enter Overall cut off percentage (Cumulative of terms).
- Select checkbox against Define eligibility for individual terms / Assessments.
- Click to create criteria. The pop-up window will appear to configure criteria.
- Enter Subject-wise cut off percentage for above selected terms / Assessments.
- Enter Remarks.
- Select checkbox against Include Supplementary Subjects in remark to include the subject name with the remark.
- Click Save. The examination supplementary will be configured.
NOTE:
- Settings will be disabled once the marks are entered for the supplementary exams.
- In case of the supplementary exams, once marks are entered for the supplementary exams the marks will be disabled for the previous term.
- Supplementary Node will not be created if the annual node is not created in the exam hierarchy page.
