Various leave types can be created based on different leave rules listed. There are eight pre-defined leave types with default settings provided. Customized leave types can also be created.
- Click to add new leave type. The pop-up window will appear.
- Enter Leave Type Name.
- Enter Leave Type Code.
- Select Tag from the drop-down menu.
- Turn on the toggle against Paid Leave, if required.
- Select check circle against Monthly or Yearly to configure leave calendar duration.
- Click Advanced Settings to do the additional settings. The new window will appear.
- Select Checkbox against Lapse on Month End or Lapse on Year End to configure End of the Leave Calendar.
- The leave criteria are provided. Just as required those can be turned on.
- Click Save. The leave type will be created and will be displayed on the page.
- Turn on the toggle against Active, to activate the leave type.
