How to configure the leave type?

Various leave types can be created based on different leave rules listed. There are eight pre-defined leave types with default settings provided. Customized leave types can also be created.

  1. Click to add new leave type. The pop-up window will appear.
  2. Enter Leave Type Name.
  3. Enter Leave Type Code.
  4. Select Tag from the drop-down menu.
  5. Turn on the toggle against Paid Leave, if required.
  6. Select check circle against Monthly or Yearly to configure leave calendar duration.
  7. Click Advanced Settings to do the additional settings. The new window will appear.
  8. Select Checkbox against Lapse on Month End or Lapse on Year End to configure End of the Leave Calendar.
  9. The leave criteria are provided. Just as required those can be turned on.
  10. Click Save. The leave type will be created and will be displayed on the page.
  11. Turn on the toggle against Active, to activate the leave type.
