> Examination > Subject Activity Configuration
- Select a Class and Subject.
- Click the subject under which you wish to create the subject activity/activities (Ex. English).
- Click Add Level.
There are three steps by which the activity can be created:
Name- Make it Mandatory as required (if the activity is marked as mandatory then it is compulsory to pass the activity).
- Enter the Name, Short Name and Sequence No. of the activity.
- Enter Start Date and End Date. Teachers can enter marks to this activity in between these days only. During these days, the mark entry page will be accessible for teachers to enter, update and delete the marks of that subject activity.
- Click Proceed.
Score/Grade - Enter Input Type from the drop-down menu. If Marks are selected from the drop-down menu, then it is necessary to provide Maximum Marks.
- Enter Grade System from the drop-down menu.
- Enter Cut Off percentage.
- Make it Distinction, if required and enter Distinction Marks also.
- Click Proceed.
Calculations
If you wish to group subject activities under this activity, click Add or click Finish. - Select a Calculation Logic (Sum or Average) for the rubrics under the subject activity.
NOTE:
Under Advanced Settings, you can configure the number of the best scores to be considered from the rubrics linked to the subject activity. - Select the subject activities that you want to group under this activity.
- Select the checkbox against the subject activity to make it Mandatory to Pass.
- Click if you want to add rubrics to the subject activity.
NOTE:
- Each subject should have at least one activity.
- Click to edit the created subject activity.
- Click to delete the subject activity.
- Click to deactivate the activity.
- Click Create New to add more activities.
- To activate Quick Edit turn on the toggle against quick edit, the pop-up window will appear on the right side of the page and the information can be edited.
