How to modify the fee schedule/installment after fee collection is done?

Modifying a fee schedule/instalment depends on whether the Due End Date is crossed and whether any collection has already been done. Once collections have started, certain changes may require cancelling receipts before modifications are allowed.

If the Due End Date is not crossed:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Finance > Fee Schedule
  2. Click on the fee schedule name you want to modify.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Update the Instalment or Schedule details as needed.
  5. Click Save to apply the changes.

If the Due End Date is crossed:

  1. Cancel any receipts collected against the respective schedule/instalment.
  2. Follow the same steps as above:
    • Go to Settings > Finance > Fee > Fee Schedule.
    • Click on the fee schedule you want to edit.
    • Click the Edit button.
    • Modify the Instalment/Schedule details.
    • Click Save to apply the changes.
