Unfortunately, once a fee head is created by mapping a specific ‘Fee Type,’ it cannot be changed (e.g., from Mandatory to Optional, Adhoc, Admission, or vice versa).
Reason: This limitation exists because once fee heads are created, the fee dues are generated in the back-end. Modifying the fee type afterward could result in discrepancies in the fee dues.
Solution: If changing the fee type is essential, we recommend deleting the existing fee head and recreating it based on your new requirements.
