Why is my report card generation failing or taking too long?

Report card generation may fail or take longer due to a few common configuration issues. Here are the key points to check:

1. Missing Examination Hierarchy Configuration

If required settings in the examination hierarchy are incomplete or missing, the system cannot proceed with generation.

How to verify :

  1. Go to Settings > Student > Examination > Exam Hierarchy.
  2. Select the relevant class.
  3. Check for any incomplete or missing configurations.

2. Report Card Publish Date is Crossed.

If the previously set publish date has already passed, it may cause the generation process to fail.

How to verify :

  • Navigate to Menu > Student > Examination > Report Card Publish.
  • Click the three dots next to the respective report card.
  • Select Edit.
  • Ensure the publish date is current and has not been crossed.

After fixing, republish the report card and check.
