You can register Face ID on the Essl UFace 302/602U device once the biometric device is properly configured, connected to NextOS. Make sure the staff user is already mapped and available on the device.
Steps to register fingerprints
- On the biometric device, go to Menu > User Mgmt > All Users.
- Select the user for whom Face ID needs to be registered and click Edit.
- Choose the Face option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and ask the user to look straight into the camera.
- Allow the device to capture the face from the required angles until registration is complete.
- Save the configuration.
Once Face ID is registered, the user can mark attendance using facial recognition, and the attendance data will automatically sync with NextOS.
