How to add pickup and drop services to a route?

> Transport > Route Management

Routes that are already created will be displayed on the screen.

  1.  Click MANAGE SERVICES  against the name of the created route.
  2. Click ADD to add services to the route.

    NOTE:
    A service comprises a pickup and drop-off of students at the school.

  3.  Enter Service No. A particular service to a route can be identified by the route number and the service number. For example, RA1S02.
  4. Click VIEW DETAILS next to the route number and service number. By default, you will land on the Pickup Service Creation page. You need to first set the timings for Pick up and drop off service so that the availability of vehicle, driver and attendant can be checked.
  5. Set the Pickup Time for all the stops.
    ATTENTION
    The time entered should be in chronological order.
  6. Click SAVE.
    NOTE:
    The pickup can be rescheduled by clicking RESCHEDULE.
  7. Click ASSIGN against ‘No vehicle assigned’. The list of vehicles along with their status as Available or Busy for the configured timing of Service is displayed. The Available status indicates that the vehicle is available to be assigned to any service (Pickup/drop-off). The Busy status of the vehicle indicates that the vehicle is already assigned to a service (Pickup/drop-off).
  8. Select the vehicle to be assigned to the chosen service.
    REMEMBER

    • You can remove the assigned vehicle from service, till the trip starts for the day.
    • All the changes and updates will be applicable to the next day’s transport service.
  9.  Click ASSIGN against ‘No Driver Assigned’. The Available status indicates that the driver is available to be assigned any service (Pickup/drop-off). The Busy Status of the vehicle indicates that the driver is already assigned a service (Pickup/drop off).
  10. Select the name of the driver from the list. The driver will be assigned the service.
  11. Click ASSIGN against ‘No Attendant Assigned’. The Available status indicates that the attendant is available to be assigned any service (Pickup/drop-off). The Busy Status of the vehicle indicates that the attendant is already assigned a service (Pickup / drop off).
  12. Select the name of the attendant. The attendant will be assigned the service.
    ATTENTION
    The driver, attendant and vehicle can be changed before the trip starts.
    If you wish to make changes to any trip on the same day, you may do it from the Trip Management page for each trip.

  13. Click the DROP tab next to the PICKUP tab.
  14. Set the drop for all the stops.
    NOTE:

    • The time entered should be in chronological order.
    • The Drop can be rescheduled by clicking RESCHEDULE.

  15.  Click SAVE.
  16.  Click ASSIGN against ‘No vehicle assigned’. The list of vehicles along with their status as Available or Busy for the configured timing of service is displayed. The Available status indicates that the vehicle is available to be assigned to any service (Pickup/drop-off). The Busy Status of the vehicle indicates that the vehicle is already assigned to a service (Pickup/drop-off).
  17.  Select the vehicle to be assigned to the chosen service.
    NOTE:

    • You can remove the assigned vehicle from the service until the trip starts for the day.
    • Click CHANGE against the vehicle, driver or attendant selected to change the assigned details.
  18. Click ASSIGN against ‘No Driver Assigned’. The Available status indicates that the driver is available to be assigned any service (Pickup/drop-off). The Busy status of the vehicle indicates that the driver is already assigned a service. (Pickup/drop-off).
  19. Select the name of the driver from the list. The driver will be assigned to the service.
  20. Click ASSIGN against ‘No Attendant Assigned’. The Available status indicates that the attendant is available to be assigned any service (Pickup/drop-off). The Busy Status of the vehicle indicates that the attendant is already assigned a service (Pickup/drop-off).
  21.  Select the name of the attendant. The attendant will be assigned the service.

ATTENTION

Click on top of the screen to reset the details added to the service.
By resetting the service, all the details including the pickup and drop timings, vehicle, driver and attendant added will be deleted.

NOTE:

  • The services added for a route can be viewed on clicking the routes listed on the Route Management page.
  • Click on the services card to delete a service.
  • You can add multiple services to a single route.
  • Click to view the history of the updates made to a service.
