How can a fee category be assigned to a student from the “Fee Collect screen”?

To assign a fee category to a student from the “Collect Fee” screen, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Fee > Collect Fee.
  2. Search for a student using their admission number or name, or choose the desired class and section from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the student’s name.
  4. If the fee category is not mapped, the “Assign Fee” button will appear on the fee info screen.
  5. Click on the “Assign Fee” button to open a pop-up window.
  6. Select the respective fee category from the drop-down menu.
  7. Optionally, select any applicable optional fees or concessions.
  8. Click the “Submit” button to assign the fee category successfully.

Note: The “Assign Fee” button will only be displayed on the collect fee screen if the fee category is not already mapped to the student.
