Student Fee Dues Overview

Total fee dues of the students including the fines, previous session dues and concessions are displayed on Student Fee Dues screen.

• If the student fee category is changed, fee dues are updated according to the fee structure of new category after reallocation/ refund of the already paid dues.
• Every time a fee is collected/cancelled from transaction screens, the respective student fee dues are updated accordingly.

Editing Fee Dues:

• You may edit the instalment amounts for the student selected. However, the addition of new instalments is not allowed.
• Fee due amount out of total amount for any instalment in case of partial payments can be decreased or increased further.
• Once full payment is done for any instalment, fee due amount for such instalments are not editable.
• Fee dues can be increased only until fee collection is not done against the student. Once the fee is collected, you won’t be able to increase any fee dues.
• Also, even if the fee is not yet collected for some fee type, the fee amount cannot be increased more than the fee structure amount of the class in which the student belongs.
• You may also edit the amounts for the desired instalments from this screen, to waive off the dues for a student completely.
• While editing an instalment, a new column titled new amount appears. Edits can only be made in this column. Once the new amount column is saved, the total amount and the due amount column automatically get updated based on the edits made in the new amount column.
• The changes made on this screen will not be reflected on the fee structure for the respective class but the changes made in the dues will get updated in the collect fee page for the particular student.

Information Displayed:

• The due amount, along with the total amount is displayed for each instalment under the fee types mapped for the student. The total amount reflects the amount according to the fee structure that has to be paid as the sum of all the instalments defined.
• Concession or fine amounts are not included in the total or due amount displayed against every fee type instalment.
• You may track the changes made in due amounts by clicking the view history button on the upper-right corner of the page.

Summary Header Details:

• Total Fee (A): All dues + Ad hoc fees (collected)
• Allocated Concession (B): Concessions assigned (system defined and runtime)
• Payable Fee (C = A – B): All fee dues (including concession) + Ad hoc fees (collected)
• Paid till date (D): Actual fee paid against the dues (including concession) + Ad hoc fees (collected)
• Fee Due (Annual) (E = C – D): Unpaid dues for the entire year (including concession)
• Fee Due (As on date): Unpaid Fee dues (including concession) wherein due start date <= current date
• Fine Paid: Late fine (collected) + Cheque bounce fine (collected)
• Fine Due: Accumulated late fine (fee type/instalment wise) that is not collected + Accumulated cheque bounce fine that is not collected
• Previous Sessions Dues: Fee Dues, if any, from the previous session, along with fine and concession, will be displayed.
