Lab Access Codes are secure PINs required for students to access lab sessions in the computer lab. These codes ensure secure access and enable the generation of accurate usage reports by tracking the correct student activity linked to each code.
Each student is assigned a unique 4-digit Lab Access Code, which is automatically generated by Next Gurukul.
Note: This code is mandatory for students of Grade 6 and above. They will be prompted to enter their Lab Access Code when attempting to access lab resources in the computer lab via Next Gurukul.
How to View Lab Access Code?
- If you are an Admin, Go to School Workspace > Manage Students > Students List > Select the appropriate Class–Section
- If you are a Teacher, Go to Curriculum > Select a Course > Manage Students
- Tap on the eye
icon to see the Lab Access Code.
Note : Students can view their Lab Access Codes anytime via the Profile section in Next Gurukul.

How to update the Lab Access code?
Students can update their Lab Access Code directly from their accounts by following these steps:
- Log in to the student account using Next Gurukul Mobile app
- Navigate to Profile > Tap on View Profile > Locate and Tap on View Lab Access Code
- Tap on Update button > Enter New Code > Tap Save to apply the changes.
